Meet the PI

Jay Dorsey, MD, PhD is an NIH-funded physician-scientist, Co-Leader of the Radiation Oncology Translational Center of Excellence, and a board-certified therapeutic radiologist. As a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, he brings extensive expertise in cancer and radiation biology, genomics, biomarkers, and cancer nanotechnology, advancing innovative approaches in cancer research and patient care.

Our Mission

The Dorsey Lab is dedicated to deciphering the intricate and complex interactions between cancer, the tumor microenvironment, and treatment response. Our mission is to uncover novel immune, molecular, and therapeutic insights, with a strong emphasis on reverse translation—bringing clinical discoveries back to the lab to inspire breakthroughs that drive the future of cancer treatment.
